FAD has produced several open art events, providing public opportunity for creative response to art and design driven themes. We believe the audience always completes the design.

FAD’s artistic approach to dress and entertainment has resulted in several commissions by leading Victorian Art Galleries to help launch major exhibitions such as Andy Warhol’s Time Capsules for the National Gallery of Victoria’s Art Beat members, Tracey Moffatt for Monash Gallery of Art, and Bill Henson’s Three Decades of Photography for NGV International, amongst others.

We have designed pop-surrealist dresses for American artist SHAG, draped the Virgin Mary in mixed media for Yering Wine Station Yarra Valley, and built neo-constructivist headpieces for the Melbourne Design Festival.
